Goalkeeping support for local clubs and businesses
Joel and his team provide goalkeeping support for local clubs and businesses.
​
This can be in an advisory capacity and Joel's team are also happy to deliver in house professional goalkeeper coaching sessions too at a frequency that ensures regular contact at an affordable price.
​
GK Icon Goalkeeping became official goalkeeping partners with then, Premier League side, Watford FC in 2021, with Joel and his team supporting the club with their academy recruitment as well as coaching support.

Working Together
WATFORD FC
We are official partners with Watford FC and the clubs academy.

The partnership sees GK Icon Goalkeeping support the club with their recruitment of the best, local, goalkeeping talent.
​
The relationship has seen a number of GK Icon goalkeepers sign for the club following successful trial periods but has also seen opportunities for other keepers to provide goalkeeping options during time of injury, illness or suspension to the clubs existing keepers.
WATFORD FC COMMUNITY SPORTS & EDUCATION TRUST
Joel works closely with the Watford FC community trust and has a strong coaching partnershop with the clubs PDC programme.

Joel has supported a pathway for a number of his coaching team to work for Watford FC, delivering a dedicated, joint GK Icon style session for the PDC keepers every week.
​
This partnership also gives the clubs keepers the opportunity to take advantage of glove discounts and nationwide goalkeeper camps.
BERKHAMSTED RAIDERS COMMUNITY FC
GK Icon and Berkhamsted Raiders have a long history of working closely together.
​
Joel and his team have been providing in house goalkeeper coaching for the club for a number of years, with a large number of the clubs keepers also attending weekly GK Icon sessions and keepers camps too.
​
The relationship see's Joel providing annual feedback on goalkeepers progress and suggestions as to when keepers are able to progress through the different levels of the club.
CHESHAM UNITED YOUTH FC
GK Icon goalkeeping provide monthly goalkeeping workshops for the excellent youth set up at Chesham United.
​
Some of the clubs goalkeepers have attended GK Icon camps too and despite the relationship being formalised during the COVID pandemic, the two forces hope to unite further in a post Coronavirus world.
AYLESBURY UNITED
Joel and his team provide monthly goalkeeper workshops for Aylesbury United, specifically working with the clubs girls sides.

The partnership also gives the clubs goalkeepers the opportunitiy to join the wider GK icon goalkeeper network, taking advantage of glove discounts and nationwide goalkeeper camps.
AYLESBURY VALE DYNAMOS
GK Icon goalkeeping are an official club sponsor of Aylesbury Vale Dynamos, and coach a large number of the clubs keepers.

This relationship see's GK Icon having priority use of some of the clubs outstanding facilities across Aylesbury Vale.
JP PRO FOOTBALL
JP PRO and GK Icon Goalkeeping work closely to give local football talent an opportunity to showcase their ability and to progress to an improved level from their grassroots clubs. Joel regularly recommends goalkeepers to JP PRO and supports their goalkeepers ongoing development.

JP PRO offer some fantastic opportunities for talented footballers and provide lots of tools to equip them ready for the next step in their careers.
SFC ACADEMY
GK Icon Goalkeeping and SFC academy work closely with ourselves providing goalkeeper coaching for SFC's union of goalkeepers each week, alongside our Mill Hill Centre.

SFC have a proven track record of developing players and have secured places within academy football for a large number of their players.
CASSIOBURY RANGERS FC
Cassiobury Rangers are an official glove partner with GK Icon with many of their goalkeepers wearing our glove brand.
This fantastic initiative helps the clubs keepers secure great quality gloves at a very affordable price to help in their development in training and matches.

The two businesses work closely in terms of goalkeeping development, goalkeeping recruitment and specifically working on the well being and inclusion of goalkeepers.
